Terms of sale

What you buy

A digital download: print files, guides, firmware and software, depending on the kit. Praetorian also includes the video course. No physical parts are shipped, except the printed plates of the Done for you pre-order (below).

Refunds follow the refunds page: the 14-day promise on every kit, the build guarantee on Praetorian and Done for you, and the pre-order terms below.

Parts and tools are yours to source, and so is a 3D printer unless you pre-order Done for you. Prices and availability of parts are outside our control.

The Done for you pre-order

We print all 14 plates in black PLA and ship them to you, with the full Praetorian kit, which downloads right away. The electronics, screws, power supply and laser pointer are not included. We never ship a laser.

You are charged in full when you pre-order. Shipping is extra and set by country at checkout. Import duties and taxes in your country are yours to pay.

Shipping is estimated at 3–4 weeks after your order. That is an estimate. If the date slips, we email you. You can cancel any time before it ships, for a full refund.

If parts arrive broken, send a photo to hello@utinvm.ai within 14 days of delivery and we reprint them. The 60-day build guarantee counts from the day the printed parts arrive.

Licence

Personal use: build, modify and use as many turrets as you like for yourself.

You may not share, resell or re-upload the files, or sell printed parts or built turrets, without a commercial licence. Ask us for one.

Building it is your responsibility

This is a maker project for adults 18 and over. It is not a toy, and not a safety, security or defence device.

Follow the laser safety page and the laws where you live. We are not liable for misuse or for builds that depart from the guides.
